- Chosen by Voters I don't think it would work in your Chevy very will, but it would turn a lot of heads when you take off from a stop sign in a VW beetle. It has been done before, and drops right in. A Chevy is a lot heavy er than a VW and needs more than 200 H.P. to really cook. The Porsche doesn't have as much torque as a Chevy, and the trannie is much smaller.. not built for a bigger car.
